SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS

Our school holiday workshops are legendary — and the next round is coming.

If you missed this round, get on our mailing list and you will be the first to know when bookings open for our next school holiday program.

What our holiday workshops are all about

Our school holiday workshops are themed event days — not just classes. Each workshop is packed with performance, hands-on activities, creativity and plenty of fun with friends. Kids come to move, make things, try something new and go home with a smile and something to show for it.

With a mix of themed games, craft, performance activities and a movie, every workshop is a full day of adventure. Join us for one day or stack a few favourites — either way, your child is going to love it.

Some of the themes we have run

We have put on some pretty memorable days over the years. Past workshops have included:

Run Away With the Circus — aerial silks, lyra, juggling, hooping, poi and acro

K-Pop Workshop — real choreography, karaoke and K-Pop-themed crafts

Level Up — a screen-free video game adventure with real-life challenges and missions

Secret Agent: Escape Room — spy training, ciphers, stage fighting and a kid-friendly escape room challenge

Rockstar Academy — live music, guitar, drums, singing, band challenges and a mini showcase

Block Party — building challenges, a group build and hands-on creative fun

One Wonderful Day — a Wicked-inspired musical theatre day full of singing, dancing and creativity
Eras - A Swiftie Inspired Dance and Karaoke Party and Friendship Bracelets.

Broadway Dreams — singing, dancing, drama games and a full performance experience
Lights, Camera, Action - A day of Movie Magic and staring in a film.

Every round we mix things up — new themes, new activities, fresh structure. Kids who come back for the same workshop more than once will find it is never quite the same day twice.

General information

Location
Pulse HQ, Moranbah Fair (Coles Shopping Centre)

Ages
Our workshops are designed with primary school-aged children in mind. Children who are not yet Prep age are unable to attend general workshops due to safety and insurance requirements.

What to bring and wear
Comfortable clothes to move and craft in are always a good bet. We love it when kids dress to the theme if they would like to. All children should bring a water bottle, packed lunch and snacks.

Do we have to be enrolled at Pulse?
Not at all. Unless otherwise noted, all workshops are open to the public. No performing arts experience needed — every workshop is designed to be welcoming for first-timers and regulars alike.
